It was all hands on deck at Temple Emanu-El on April 1 for the family challah workshop.Â
Families poured, mixed and kneaded their way through Rabbi Elaine Glickman's family challah recipe. Challah is a bread typically baked during the Jewish sabbath of Shabbat.Â
"It makes your whole home smell special," Glickman said. "It makes your your whole house smell like Shabbat."
