Music Compound held its grand opening celebration on the evening of Sept. 9. Staff, students, family and friends gathered to celebrate nine months after the technical opening of the new location in order to showcase 25 Music Compound students who performed both original and cover songs. Many of the same students will perform at the music school’s next event, Beer, Bands and BBQ at the Sarasota Polo Grounds on Oct. 1.
