MBC Elite wins state title

The MBC Elite 17U boys basketball won five games to win the tournament.

The MBC Elite 17U boys basketball team captured the 2016 AAU Division I state championship May 7-8, at the Big House, in Tavares. 

The team went 5-0, edging past Balkman Elite 46-44 in the championship game. 

Local players include: 

Braden River’s Deoni Cason, Cardinal Mooney’s Richard Krupa and Lakewood Ranch’s Devin Twenty, Brock Sisson, Kodey Elliott, Blauvelt Georges, Justin Muscara and Sam Hester.
