The Braden River baseball team completed its three-game sweep of rival Lakewood Ranch with a 3-1 victory March 18.Â
Eric Kimsey pitched a complete game, allowing one run on six hits while striking out six.Â
John Bean went 2-for-3 with a double. Cole Pencosky went 1-for-3 with a triple, a run scored an a RBI. Giancarlo Gamboa went 1-for-2 with a double and a RBI.Â
With the win, the Pirates, who beat the Mustangs 8-4 in eight innings March 15 and 9-1 March 16, improved to 10-3 on the season.Â
