The Braden River High softball team improved its record to 12-0 with a 10-5 victory against Riverview in non-district action March 9.Â
Junior second baseman Myah Moy had three hits, including a double and a triple, three RBI and scored a pair of runs to lead the way for the Pirates at the plate. Bethaney Keen had a pair of hits and scored a run. Linda Ross added a hit and scored three runs.Â
Pitcher Lexi Phelps earned the win on the mound for Braden River, finishing with a pair of strikeouts.Â
Riverview's Marina Clark had three hits, including a double, and drove in the Rams' first two runs of the game. The Rams return to action at 7 p.m. March 17 versus Lakewood Ranch.Â
