As children at Kiddie Academy sat around their lunch tables March 2, Olivia Malin couldn’t seem to get enough of her special lunch — green eggs and ham.

“I ate all of them,” she said with a vigorous nod of her head.

Children at Kiddie Academy and at Braden River Elementary School celebrated the birthday of beloved children’s author Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, with lunches of green eggs and ham. Some classrooms also included Dr. Seuss-inspired crafts, storytime and other activities.
