Things got a little batty at Harvest United Methodist Church this week.

The East County church hosted its vacation Bible school June 20-24. This year’s theme was Cave Quest, so the church decorated accordingly.

Children enrolled in the VBS are helping raise money to donate to Syrian refugees with a goal of $2,500, as well as collecting canned food items for Samoset Elementary School. If they meet the goal, they will get to “slime” the pastor and youth minister.
