Hitched and Honey and Sunnyday Mercantile hosted the first annual "Sea to Shore" Bestie Brunch on Saturday, June 11, on the balcony of Mote Marine's Keating Marine Education Center. World Oceans Day and National Best Friends day was this past week, so the hosts thought what better way to celebrate than on this day, overlooking Sarasota Bay while enjoying a three-course gourmet brunch. The event benefited Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.Â
Nearly 40 guests gathered at a banquet table to enjoy a three-course gourmet brunch.

First Course — Roasted vegetable quiche tartlet with mixed greens, champagne vinaigrett paired with Satori Family, Pinot Grigio
Second Course — Crabcake eggs benedict with tangerine habanero hollandaise sauce paired with Veuve du Vernay Brut Rose
Third Course — Mascarpone and macerated berry pancake stack with Grand Marnier maple syrup paired with Chalone Vineyard Gavilan chardonnay
