Manatee County Chamber of Commerce members were involved in a shoot-out... the competitive kind.
The chamber held its annual clay shoot Friday, Jan. 29, at Ancient Oak Gun Club in East County. Members were invited to compete for prizes, bet on silent auction items and chow down on barbecue.
Don and Vanessa Baugh competed in the tournament, as members of the chamber with their business, Vanessa's Fine Jewelry. Don Baugh said he'd been shooting a long time, but Vanessa just began about six months ago.
"I had to find a way to spend time with my husband," the Manatee County commissioner said.
