Regardless of whether he wanted to, Daniel Pohler was going to dance.

"Come on, dad," his daughter, Peyton, said, while leading him to the dance floor. "This song is fun."

After dancing to "Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot," by The Merry Men, the father-daughter duo never left the dance floor, Feb. 18, during Bashaw Elementary's annual Daddy-Daughter Dance.

Escorted by their fathers, students dressed in sparkling dresses and enjoyed a night of dancing, snacks and time with friends.
