Which is better, green or red?
On Candy Cane Lane, the answer is both.
Third-grade students at Willis Elementary School on Dec. 15 celebrated diversity with performances of "Christmas on Candy Cane Lane." Red candy canes and green candy canes debated who was the best, pulling in Rudolph, Santa and others in their quest.
Ultimately, Mrs. Claus determined both colors were worth celebrating and created a new candy cane — one with red-and-green stripes.
