It was a trip to Bethlehem and those who made the journey didn't have to leave Lakewood Ranch.
The Living Lord Lutheran Church presented its Night in Bethlehem event Dec. 10, letting patrons wander through the streets of a recreated Bethlehem underneath a beautiful sky.
Those who attended enjoyed a nativity scene, arts and crafts, snacks and singing.
For this year’s event, guests brought pajamas to donate to The Way to Inspire and Give (TWIG), a Venice-based organization that provides clothing to children in foster care.
