It was a toss-up whether the home of Harry and Mary Jo Steltmann had more holly or more jolly.

The Steltmanns hosted more than 100 guests who attended the Palm Aire Women's Club Holly Jolly fundraiser Dec. 4.

The holly came in the tremendous decorations the Steltmanns had in every nook and cranny of their home. The jolly involved a wonderful party and the fact the event raises funds for scholarships and other charities.

Jan Ganz, the chairwoman of the event, said more than $13,000 in scholarships would be presented to students attending the State College of Florida and Manatee Tech.

It was the fundraiser's third year.
