It was a swing and a hit for this year’s A Round for the Kids.
The 2nd annual golf tournament benefitting Braden River Elementary School was held Saturday, April 23, at The River Club. Event chairwoman and faculty member Lisa Camuto said her goal for the event was to raise $10,000. The tournament grew this year, with 90 golfers, 22 hole sponsors, six corporate sponsors and six family sponsors.
“We rocked this course,” Camuto said.

This year's tournament round up 90 golfers, compared to 37 last year.
