The Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota hosted the first My Hometown Fest April 9, at Premier Sports Campus,  as a way to raise money for charitable causes.Â
Guests enjoyed craft beers, food samples and live music by four different bands.
Lakewood Ranch's Bill Torpy, Doreen Wilson, Paul Kus, Colin Hinsberg, Brandi Wanecski and Adam Beaman came out to support charity and because of the beautiful weather.
Tim Mitten, Natalie Russell, Dave Marcinko and Karie Gorgone represent Wagner Realty, an event sponsor.
Sertoma Club member David Hicks and his wife, Jontie, live in Osprey but are building a home in Lakewood Ranch.
Rudy Marrero, Danny Felico, Jay Chiofalo and Mike Lerman grew up in Lakewood Ranch. "It's kind of cool to see something like this here," Marrero says.
Debby Greer, Pam Plank and Crystal Yoder are enamored with their sample from Chicken Kitchen.
Ryan Wardman, Jessica Black, Jennifer Wardman and Chis Wardman hail from Sarasota.
