East County puts 'my' in hometown fest

The event raised funds for the Sertoma Club and other charities.

The Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota hosted the first My Hometown Fest April 9, at Premier Sports Campus,  as a way to raise money for charitable causes. 

Guests enjoyed craft beers, food samples and live music by four different bands.

Lakewood Ranch's Bill Torpy, Doreen Wilson, Paul Kus, Colin Hinsberg, Brandi Wanecski and Adam Beaman came out to support charity and because of the beautiful weather.
