Ghouls and goblins and witches and warlocks converged Oct. 30, on the eve of Halloween in Lakewood Ranch.

Attendees of the annual Boo Fest event enjoyed trick-or-treating, Halloween music and pop songs, a range of food options and other attractions offered at Premier Sports Campus.

Most importantly, attendees dressed in their Halloween garb as they wandered around the fields during the three-hour event, which has become so large it outgrew its previous venue, Lakewood Ranch Main Street.

Some who attended also braved a trip through the haunted house, which was located on the back side of the property.
