Lady Blazers top Lady Cougars

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team beat Cardinal Mooney 3-1 Oct. 13.

After losing the first set, the Sarasota Christian volleyball team bounced back to beat Cardinal Mooney 27-29, 25-14, 26-24, 25-21 in non-district action Oct. 13. 

Cheyenne Miller powered the Lady Blazers with 14 kills, three aces and two blocks. Nicole Miller finished with 33 digs, two kills and one block. Anikka Jensen contributed 13 kills, one block and one ace. 

Annie Shaw recorded 28 assists, six digs and one kill to lead the way for the Lady Cougars. Keri McMahon added 16 digs, 12 kills and two aces.
