Kiddie Academy of Lakewood Ranch students feast on holiday favorites
Students enjoyed turkey, mashed potatoes and other Thanksgiving food during their feast Nov. 25.

Kiddie Academy students couldn't wait until tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving.
They gathered around tables in their classrooms and enjoyed holiday fixings, from slabs of turkey to mashed potatoes, Nov. 25 during their Thanksgiving Feast celebration.
The children sported American Indian-inspired paper headbands with multi-colored feathers attached, and pilgrim-style hats they crafted earlier in the week.
Each student has a different reason to be thankful this year.
"I'm thankful for horses and my family," Sophia Basile said.
