Family and friends gathered near the steps of the Bay Haven School of Basics Plus to hear students sing and dance to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss on Friday. Students from the kindergarten program dressed in red, black and white to match the “Cat in the Hat” character. Teachers dedicated the entire week to the author of such beloved stories as the “One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish” and “Green Eggs and Ham.”
The performance for friends and family took place on the front steps of the school.
