Turtle Inc. putts for Mote

More than 100 people were in attendance for the first annual Turtle Inc. Mini-Golf Tournament Saturday morning at Evie’s Family Golf Center. 

Participants took to the western-themed miniature golf course to compete and contribute to sea turtle conservation. Through the efforts of Turtle Inc. the event collected $4,700 to be matched and increased by Positive Tracks, a youth-centric nonprofit, to $9,500. Turtle Inc. founder Lexi Mariash presented the check for $9,500 to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium President & CEO Michael Crosby and sea turtle Program Manager Buddy Powell.
