With the sound of an air horn runners took off for a 1-mile fun run down the shores Tuesday evening of Siesta Key Beach. Waiting at the finish line for participants were ribbons and ice pops to cool runners down.Â
Weekly Summer Beach Runs are hosted for children and families looking for inexpensive summer activities on Siesta Key. The next scheduled race is Tuesday, June 23 with registration at 5:30 p.m. at the Siesta Key Beach pavilion.Â
