Whether creating bug-themed paper masks, complete with bright colored pipe cleaners, cotton balls and paint, or coloring outlines of flowers, children ages 5 to 12 enjoyed perfecting their art skills during Jackie's Art Club two-week summer camp. Children meet at Imagine School at Lakewood Ranch for the four-day Monday through Friday camp. The arts-focused event started June 8, and features different themes daily, such as Hawaiian day and a water balloon paint party, during which students tossed water balloons at each other and painted their own wet faces after the soaked scene.
