Four Manasota Monsters lacrosse teams won championships at the annual Rippin’ at the Ranch lacrosse tournament June 27 and June 28, at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch.
Nearly 50 of the top teams from across the state, ranging in age from U9 to high school, participated in this year’s tournament.
The Monsters U9 (5-0), U11 (6-0), U13 A (6-0) and U15 (6-0) all won their respective divisions. The Monsters U13 B team went 3-1-1 to finish third in Group 3.

Austin Santoro helped lead the Monsters U11 team to a 10-4 victory over LB3 CP22 Boca U11 Select during pool play June 27.
The Monsters U11 team went 6-0 to win the championship.

The Pasco Lions’ U15 team finished third in Group 2.
The Monsters U15 team outscored its opponents 67-9 en route to the championship.
The Monsters U15 team defeated the Pasco Lions 12-1 in its second game of the tournament.
