The Ranch Grill had a few four-legged visitors as a part of Nate's Honor Animal Rescue's benefit.
The rescue held its fundraiser Friday night at the restaurant with a 50/50 raffle—participants purchased tickets, and the winner would receive half of the ticket sales. The other half returns to the organization. "Celebrity" bartenders also served drinks during the event, and donated tips to Nate's Honor. Three of the rescue's adoptable dogs were the center of attention.
"We love Nate's, we want to support it," said Carol Beatty, who attended the event with two friends.
Larry Angst attended the event to support the organization from which he got his dog, Buddy. Angst adopted the pit-mix in December 2014.
"He's the best dog ever," he said. "He's my best buddy."
