In anticipation of Earth Day parents and children spent the afternoon taking in nature at the Hug-A-Tree event at the Sarasota Children's Garden April, 18.
Together families created talking sticks using twigs, age rings on paper plates and used ribbons to wrap trees. Robin Fulk led the activities that included a lesson on all the things humans gain from trees.
