Lovers of ice cream around the globe enjoyed their favorite treat at Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s on April 14.
Visitors to St. Armands enjoyed their free small scoop of any flavor. The giveaway will continue until 8 p.m.
The chain’s 36th annual event is to show its appreciation and thank customers for another successful year.
Cameron, 2, Wes, 5, and Grant, 7, Parton enjoy their ice cream. “I love it because I’m never gonna give it up,” Wes Parton, whose favorite flavor is chocolate fudge, said.
Stella Neable, 2, whose favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate.

Erin, Jasper, 3, Jet, 1, and Kalina, 7, Ernst eat their ice cream. “I like ice cream because sometimes there’s chocolate and nuts,” Jasper Ernst, who enjoyed Chunky Monkey, said. “It’s something good for hot days,” Kalina Ernst, whose flavor of choice is
Deven, 4, and Vira, 2, Shah. “I love it,” Deven Shah said. “I like the chocolate and the Superman flavor.”
Roxanne, Aleena, 6, and Karla enjoy their snack. “It tastes sweet, and I like the raspberry,” Aleena said.
Ben and Jerry’s workers enjoy the fun-filled and busy day.
“It’s free, and I like it,” Preston Milligan, 9, said. Milligan’s favorite flavor is cookie dough.
Lillian, 8, and Joah, 2, Martin. “When it’s on a hot day, it’s cold and cools you off,” Lillian Martin said. Both siblings’ favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate.
