Statistical snapshot

The American Community Survey, an ongoing survey administered by the U.S. Census Bureau, released five-year statistics for communities for January 2009 to December 2013. We compared Longboat Key’s results for the first survey, which was released four years ago and covered the period from January 2008 to December 2012 to determine how Longboat Key is changing. We also compared the latest statistics with other communities in Sarasota and Manatee counties to determine what makes Longboat Key unique.
