Marauders win pair of championships

The Lakewood Ranch Marauders 8U travel baseball teams won back-to-back championships Nov. 17 and 24.
The Marauders defeated the Braden River Havoc 4-3 to win the STB State Championship Tournament Nov. 17 in Sarasota.
A week later, the team defeated the Havoc 10-6 to win the Wreaking Havoc Tournament in Bradenton.
Championship players include: Dillon Blair, Clayton Dees, Conner Losee, Liam Doran, James Cummings, Max Murphy, Lochlan Radloff, Matthew Joseph, Isaac Wright, Chandler Thiel, Mason Woolever and Andy Schroeder.
