PHOTO OF THE DAY: Sen. Bennett presented with 2012 Legislative Appreciation Award

The Florida League of Cities honored Sen. Mike Bennett (R-Bradenton), Thursday, May 10, at the ManaSota League of Cities meeting, at the City of Sarasota’s City Hall. The prestigious award was present to Sen. Bennett for "his tireless efforts during the 2012 legislative session to protect the home rule powers of Florida’s cities by supporting the League’s legislative agenda".  Sen. Bennett was presented the award 2012 Legislative Appreciation Award by Mary Dougherty-Slapp, the Executive Director of Gulf Coast Business Exchange.
