Residents receive their city manager forum invite

The city of Sarasota has officially invited the public to meet the five city manager candidate finalists at the end of the month.

A community reception will be held 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 29 at the Robert L. Taylor Community Center, 1845 34th St., Sarasota. The community can talk with each candidate in a casual setting at that time.
The finalists will then be interviewed by the Sarasota City Commission and the City Manager Citizens Panel 8 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at City Hall, 1565 First St., Sarasota.

Saturday’s commission interviews will also be televised live on Access Sarasota and on www.SarasotaGov.com.

City commissioners are scheduled to select a new city manager at their Monday, July 2 regular meeting.
