+ Sarasota High School meetings set
Sarasota County School District officials will hold a public meeting Thursday, June 7, for input on the Sarasota High School rebuild project.

At the meeting, participants will be divided into groups representing different stakeholders and analyze four conceptual plans for the school redesign. The groups will meet as a whole and rank plans to decide on a site plan for the project, which is expected to begin late this year.

Harvard Jolly Inc., a St. Petersburg-headquartered architecture firm, is one of the companies that will have its designs evaluated, according to Sarasota County Schools Communications Director Gary Leatherman. Harvard Jolly also oversees the design of the new Gulf Gate Library.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at Sarasota Technical Institute, 4748 Beneva Road, Sarasota.
