Casey Key home sells for $4.92 million

A home on Casey Key recently sold for $4.92 million, making it the third largest sale on the 8-mile island and the fifth largest transaction in Sarasota County so far in 2012.

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer in the sale of a $4.92 million European-inspired estate on Casey Key.

The 5,484-square-foot Gulf front home, located at 2718 Casey Key Road, features four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, with more than 290 feet of waterfront within a walled estate dubbed “Casa Salamanca.” Additionally, the home has a meditation area, a boat dock and beach access.

The home closed on June 29. In April, the firm also represented the buyer in the largest sale on Casey Key at 612 Casey Key Drive for $5.77 million.
