A woman was robbed by sudden snatching Thursday evening as she left the Walgreens location at Lockwood Ridge Road and University Parkway.
A Manatee County Sheriff's Office report states the woman was approached in the parking lot of the store by a white female, who asked her for directions.
The female then snatched the purse off the victim's left arm and fled, the report states.
The suspect was not located.
