New walkers welcome

Readers of the “Island Beat” column will recall a Nov. 10 item about a group of friends who regularly walk their dogs together on the Key. Since that item appeared, Sally Langer, a 20-year resident, reported, more folks and their furry friends have joined the group.

The group walks every day at 8:30 a.m., except on Sundays, when they wait an extra 30 minutes for Siesta Chapel members to get home from the early service and changed into walking attire.
