Children travel a long(boat) way for Halloween

Madeline Geddes, from Kingston, Canada, loves visiting Longboat Key. Her grandfather has been visiting the island for 28 years, and he brought Maddy for her first visit a few years ago. This year was Enrico Transcendi’s first time visiting Longboat Key from his home in San Michele, Italy. The pair took a break from swimming in the pool Monday, Oct. 31, to visit the Old Salty Dog with their families followed by “Fright Night” on St. Armands Circle.
