County discusses impact fees

Manatee County commissioners today will consider two ordinances involving impact fees, including one that eliminates the charging and collection of educational impact fees through July 2013.

The item is set for discussion at 10 a.m. today.

Other items on today's agenda include the appointment of a board member to the Myakka City Fire Control District and the presentation of Green Local Government Silver Certification to the county, among other items.

The meeting, which started at 9 a.m., is being held at the Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
