+ Theresa Zupon named Key Club human resources director
Theresa Zupon has been named director of human resources for the Longboat Key Club and Resort. Zupon has worked in human-resource leadership for multiple four-diamond and five-star properties, including Noble House Hotel & Resorts, Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, the Beverly Hills Hotel and Westin Hotels & Resorts. She will focus on development-and-retention opportunities and the implementation of new health-and-wellness programs for employees of the resort.

Zupon is a graduate of Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, and a Lakewood Ranch resident.

+ Edward Jones on the Circle to hold planning seminars
The St. Armands Circle branch of Edward Jones will hold a seminar entitled “Key Life Decisions: Are You Prepared?” from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Divino Restaurant & Bar, 1766 Main St., Sarasota. The Longboat Key branch of First Bank, 5390 Gulf of Mexico Drive, is collecting donations for the Food Bank of Manatee. Drop off nonperishable food items before Friday, Aug. 12 at the collection bin inside the bank. For information, call 383-6847.
