Ranch Business Alliance welcomes new board

During the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance’s annual meeting luncheon Jan. 19, Alliance members officially welcomed the group’s new chairman, Bobbi Larson, to her yearlong post.

Larson, CEO of the American Red Cross Manatee County, will replace Marc Simms of RPM Business Advisors, who served as the 2010 chairman.

Other members of the Executive Committee this year will be: Brian Volner, chair elect; Barbara Jones, treasurer; Tommy Klauber, member services chair; Craig Cerreta, governmental affairs committee; Marc Simms, immediate past chair; and Joe Najmy.

Joining the Board of Directors for a first term are: Stephen Ackoury, Ian Black, Michelle Grunberg, Rex Jensen and Warren Simonds.
