An advisory board to the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners today will make recommendations for several East County land-use items.

The Manatee County Commission will consider an amendment to the county’s land development code regarding the number and location of access points on University Parkway, as well as a master signage plan for University Park Center, a 31-acre parcel generally northwest of University Parkway and Honore Avenue.

The board also will consider a general development plan for Paley Place, a 180,000 square foot commercial shopping center at State Road 70 and Lockwood Ridge Road, and a rezone from light to heavy manufacturing for a parcel owned by Tarmac America on 33rd Street East.
