Golf pro steps down

Give it up for PGA golf professional Jim Duval, who was honored May 3 at a retirement party thrown by Mission Valley Country Club.

“Jim Duval Day,” a club-wide fiesta that included a tournament, dinner and roast, celebrated the man who improved swings for 25 years at Mission Valley.
