All 911 lines have now been fully restored. Verizon made the necessary repairs to their effected circuits.
Earlier: Local callers trying to connect to 911 are currently experience issues, such as busy tones or automated messages, according to a Feb. 23 alert from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
Callers should use the following numbers in lieu of dialing 911 in case of an emergency:
