An East County man has been arrested for a string of residential burglaries in Manatee and Sarasota counties.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 20 arrested 37-year-old Ryan Robson, of 4717 Glenbrooke Terrace, Sarasota, and charged him with burglary of an occupied dwelling, three counts of dealing in stolen property, three counts of fraud and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $35,000 bond.

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Community Affairs Manager Wendy Rose said more charges are pending.

Tactical Unit deputies conducting a followup investigation into an Oct. 14 burglary at a home in the 2500 block of 57th Street, Sarasota, located a pawned lawn mower that had been stolen from the victim’s carport. Deputies identified Robson as the man who pawned the items because he provided his drivers license and fingerprints during the transaction.
