A infill project between the River Club and Braden Woods communities again has been put on hold.

Neal Communities has plannedĀ for a 31-home project it calls Myara, located on 33 acres at the end of Clubhouse Drive.

The project was slated to go before the Manatee County Planning Commission today, but the developer pulled it from the agenda this morning.

Residents of Braden Woods and River Club have formed a group to oppose the project and are circulating petitions to stop a rezone of the land. They want the land, which borders the Braden River, to be preserved for wildlife.
