Meador celebrates 30 years at Casa Del Mar

When he was 23, Mark Meador came to Casa Del Mar Beach Resort as an irrigation specialist. Now, at 53, the resort’s current general manager celebrated 30 years at the resort.

“When I came at 23, I didn’t think I would be here this long,” Meador said. “I found out early on that this was another home.”

Meador has served various positions at the resort and was assistant manager for 12 years before becoming general manager in 2012.

“So much has changed, but I’m glad to be here,” Meador said. “I couldn’t imagine anything else.”
