East County home burglarized

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary that occurred between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., yesterday.

The suspect entered a home in the 2900 block of Lorraine Road, making entry by breaking a rear bedroom window and unlocking it.

The suspect(s) took a safe containing personal papers, several dollar coins and $2 bills and a laptop, a sheriff’s office report states.

The scene was processed for fingerprints.
