St. Boniface foyer hosted their annual spring fling Friday, April 19 at the Siesta Key beach pavilion to welcome friends and have a good time. The foyer is a dinner party group and hosts dinners at various parishioner's homes to meet new friends and interact with member. Approximately 100 people attended the annual spring fling. Reverend John Hall said grace and prayed for the Boston marathon bombing victims and Boston area residents as well as those in Wako, TX who suffered from the explosion at the fertilizer plant. Parishioners enjoyed chicken, pulled pork and side dishes.

'It's a dream I've had for three years,' says Scott Bill, president of Brian Bills Foundation. 'Today's a new beginning.'

Sarasota dignitaries and citizens celebrated the completion of the Sally and Sam Shapiro Babies and Children's Medical Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony Sunday, June 29. The center is the newest addition to the Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center located on 17th Street. After the ceremony, guests were invited to explore the new facility and meet members of staff. "It's an exciting day for our children and for the community," says Jay Berman, executive director of the Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center.
