The Sarasota Opera guild kicked off the upcoming season with its first meeting on Oct. 18. There are over 550 members of the guild and they have around 23 events a year. At this particular meeting, members from the Sarasota Youth Opera performed selections from its upcoming opera, 'Little Nemo in Slumberland.'
