Longboat Key water main break cuts north-end service

Water service on the north end of Longboat Key will be interrupted until evening as town workers repair a pipe break near Broadway Street and Gulf of Mexico Drive.

The town said customers on the west side of GMD in the half-mile from Broadway Street to Reclinata Drive are affected.

A contractor broke the water main, the town said.
