Missing child alert posted for girl last seen on Longboat Key

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Sunday posted a missing-child alert for a 14-year-old girl last seen on Gulf of Mexico Drive on Longboat Key.

In a social media posting, the FDLE reported that Jordan Tobe was last seen in the 4800 block, wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts. She might have been riding a red bicycle and carrying a black backpack.

She’s described as 5-foot-4, 133 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The agency asked that anyone with information about the whereabouts of the girl contact the Longboat Key Police Department at 941-316-1201 or simply dial 9-1-1.
