IDA celebrates leadership

Lakewood Ranch Town Hall Executive Director Eva Rey and Operations Director Ryan Heise seemed in their element as a crowd buzzed around them Thursday night at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.

Members of the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority Board and Lakewood Ranch community development district supervisors and residents gathered for a reception honoring the pair, who have taken jobs and will be vacating their posts later this month — Heise as administrator of Egg Harbor, Wisc., and Rey in a newly created post with The Viera Group.

IDA Chairman Tom Green presented each with an award for their years of service to the IDA and community.
